夜をイメージした瑠璃色の釉に銀彩で桜を描きます。

桜には、「白盛銀」と言われる伝統技法を使います。
白盛銀とは、まず白く盛り上がる絵の具で桜を描きます。

さらに、白盛の桜の上から銀で塗り焼き付ける技法。
桜の絵に立体感と独特のムラが表れます。

抹茶碗瑠璃釉銀彩夜桜は、桜を神々しく銀彩で描いた茶碗となります。
